LUYOR is launching the ROLS-5PW Rotational Speed Sensor, capable of measuring rotational speed over longer distances and with greater convenience. A rotational speed sensor, also known as a laser speed sensor, photoelectric speed sensor, or remote optical laser sensor, emits laser light through a transmitter to illuminate a rotating object. The object reflects the laser back, and the receiver filters and amplifies the reflected pulse signal, enabling non-contact rotational speed measurement from a distance.
What Sets the ROLS-5PW Apart
The Rotational Speed Sensor ROLS-5PW features a high-frequency filter chip that resists interference from ambient light sources, allowing reliable operation under sunlight, stroboscopic lights, and LED lamps across various wavelength bands. A shielded signal cable protects against electromagnetic interference in demanding environments. The circuit board is conformally coated (three-proof treatment), enabling reliable operation in humid environments such as hydropower, wind power, and papermaking facilities. The sensor is equipped with a large-diameter receiving lens that detects weak reflected signals over long distances, with an effective measurement range of up to 7 meters.
